We Have Moved

Alhamdulillah, we are thrilled and excited to present to you our new website! After months of sleepless nights and hard work, it is finally here! We cannot thank Wow Makers enough for making our dream come true with this gorgeous new online home. Our hearts are filled with immense gratitude towards YOU, our customers. Without your continuous support and kindness, we could have never achieved this big feat.

The driving force behind Pretty Paper Studio was to build an online craft community that would connect crafters not just in the UAE, but worldwide. We hope to achieve that with two new added features of Gallery and Forum. In the next few days we will be showing you how to make the most of our website. Stay tuned.

2nd anniversary: Donna's card pick

Hello once again PPS followers!

Today, I will share a really pretty card created by previous DT member, Asia.

I love the monochromatic look, I rarely come away successful when I try this style. She was able to make everything work together. I love the distressed and inked edges, the frames and little embellishments tucked underneath, and the glittered sentiments and polka dot stars.

Thank you for dropping by!

Happy crafting everyone!

PPS's 2nd Anniversary - Shruti's favorite DT Projects

Good Morning!

I am here to share with you all some of my favorite projects made by some of the current (incuding me) and past DTs.

First one is this gorgeous envelope created my Ime.

Love the big blooms and the colors she has chosen on this one! Very pretty!

The next one of my old projects which is also, I believe, one of the best mini Album I've made so far..

You have got to see this post to know why I love this Spring Break mini album.

Next is this lovely Tag made by our ex-DT Asia.

Love the bright colors.. the Pinwheel kinda design background, the chevron patterned circle die cut.. Just everything looks so perfect.

That is all from me for today.

Until next time,

2nd anniversary: Donna's favorite layout

Hello everyone! Donna here again to share my second pick among previous DT projects created since PPS started.

I chose this layout by Ime Oranga.

As you all know by now, I LOVE details that make up the whole page special. That's what I have in common with Ime, I think ;) This layout captured my love for texture, dimension and colors. I definitely love the different knick-knacks tucked in and under the photo.

Come back again on Thursday for Ime's turn.

Happy crafting everyone!

Happy 2nd birthday to my PPS family

Hi folks!
Pretty Paper Studio is two years old already! How time flies! I'm so happy to be still in this awesome group of ladies and I'm very grateful that our boss, Neelu, is one of the most generous and understanding person I've got to know.

For this month, to celebrate Pretty Paper Studio's 2nd birthday, we're to share our favorite projects in the past two years.

I chose projects that I've done myself for my first set of projects.

First is this altered canvas. I love this one because it's the first OTB project I did that's really mixed media (IMO hehe). I was very nervous at first coz I was thinking I'm not doing it right. But while thinking what to do next, I told myself to just let it GO and CREATE. I experimented a lot and I liked how it turned out. Another thing is, I was able to use a lot of scraps here for the little rolled flowers I placed everywhere.
Second one is this altered cardboard mini-album (and YES, I love recycling ;) hehe).
I made this project with a list of crafty resolutions for this year. I think I'm half way through it already :) You can check out more detail shots in this post, it's a bit farther down it's quite a long post :D What I love about this project is that I was able to mix and match old and new scrapbook stash. I love my handmade transparent flowers, the word "create" which I fuzzy cut with knife and scissors, the mixture of bold colors, and those layers of awesome embellishments.
Third but not the least, is this little Christmas Tree I created out of (again) scraps of old and new papers, doilies and other stuff. It was quite tough figuring out how to cut those circles in staggering size. I almost gave up..but nope, I have to stick to it coz I really really want a Christmas tree lol! :D I was glad I didn't give up because it turned out really pretty, if I may say so :)
So there you have it, these are my most fave projects (by yours truly) the past years. I still have more to share so stay tuned for that! :)

Happy crafting,
