October Challenge - Make a Set of Three Cards

It's World Card Day on October 6th and we thought it would be a good idea to make this our theme of the month. I, Jo, have made a set of five 'Thank You' cards. I loved playing with all the supplies, especially Pop! Microbeads!!

Supplis Used:

Here I simply stuck the sentiment to the bottom section of the card, then cut some of the masking tape stickers into banners and adhered them to the top left of the page and added a strip of Pink pearls.

Supplies Used:

Start by stamping the flowers repeatedly to form an uneven row.  Adhere the lined strip of paper, covering the stems of the flowers.  Cut the tail tag banner from plain paper and stamp the sentiment on to it.  Assemble the totally cute flag from October afternoon and attach with clear drying glue. Embellish one of the flowers by adding glossy accents to the outline of the flower and sprinkle with Pop! Microbeads, using the same technique as heat embossing.

Supplies Used:

Start by cutting the first piece of printed paper to fit your card with a quarter inch boarder around it.  Next attach a second strip of printed paper to the bottom section of the card.  Using double sided tape, tape across the second strip using double sided tape.

Sprinkle with Pop! Microbeads, using the similar technique for heat embossing.  Attach the sentiment from the dimensional sticker pack.  Stamp the bee from the Thank You stamp set onto a small piece of coordinating scrap.  Cut the image out and attach near the top of the card, using foam squared.  Draw the directional line to the bee using a precision pen.

Supplies Used:

Attach 2 strips of pattern paper to the card, edging the larger of the two pieces using a border punch or decorative scissors.  Punch butterfly shapes and attach to the card.  Use the Petite Letter stickers to add your sentiment.  Add buttons using glossy accents.  Add POP! microbeads to the butterfly bodies, using glossy accents and the same technique used for heat embossing.

Supplies Used:
Hero Hues Daffodil Folded Cards

Attach a strip of printed paper to the card.  Stamp thank you on to blue scrap and carefully cut out just the word.  Cut the scalloped edge embellishment using a scrap of paper.  Add the stamped sentiment and the insects from the dimensional sticker pack.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this Challenge. I'am looking forward to see what cards you come up with.

Happy Crafting!
Jo

  2. Does that mean the sentiment has to be the same in all the 3 eg all have to be happy birthday? Can we also make cards without sentiments as those are the type I generally do?
